Job summary

Compudopt is seeking a Program Trainer to lead instructional sessions for youth and adults in Galveston, TX. The role is seasonal and requires 10–15 hours per week, with mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on partner needs.

The trainer reports to the Program Director. Responsibilities include delivering curriculum, actively engaging learners, maintaining a safe learning environment, and collecting attendance/metrics to drive program quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Leads training classes for youth and/or parents/adult learners with curriculum.
• Delivers programs aligned with the curriculum.
• Engages students to ensure learning and retention.
• Maintains classroom culture with positive relationships and behavior management.
• Provides curriculum feedback for revision.
• Collects attendance and metric data for program improvement.
• Keeps training environment safe and compliant with standards.
• Performs other duties as required.
