Job summary

Compudopt seeks a Program Trainer in the Atlanta area (Forest Park, GA) to deliver educational programming for elementary through high school students. This seasonal, part-time role may require up to 25 hours per week across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with travel to different sites as needed and mileage reimbursement.

The trainer will follow the curriculum, engage students to ensure learning, and help maintain a positive classroom culture while reporting metrics and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and experienced in training technology or STEM-related programming.
• Able to plan, organize, and implement population-appropriate program activities.
• Basic computer programming knowledge/experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads training classes for various school age groups; training is aligned to curriculum.
• Programs are delivered in line with the developed curriculum.
• Engages with students to ensure learning and retention.
• Maintains classroom culture with relationships and behavior management.
• Provides feedback on curriculum and program revision.
• Collects attendance and metric reports to support program improvement.
• Maintains a safe, healthy training environment following policies and regulations.
• Contributes to team goals and performs other duties as required.
