Job summary

Compudopt is seeking a Program Trainer for Lake Charles, LA, to deliver technology education programs as a seasonal trainer. The role involves 10–15 hours per week, mornings to evenings as required, and reports to the Program Director.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are at least 18, have reliable transportation, and ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree or are pursuing one. Training and resources will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate digital tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience or coursework in teaching, training, or education technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead training classes for youth and adult learners; follow curriculum.
• Deliver programs aligned with established curriculum.
• Engage students to maximize learning and retention; manage classroom behavior.
• Provide feedback on curriculum and program improvements.
• Collect attendance and performance metrics to improve program quality.
• Maintain a safe and compliant training environment.
• Support team goals and assist with related duties as needed.
