Job summary

Tank Garage Winery in Paso Robles, CA is seeking a part-time Wine Club Host to welcome guests, host tastings, and share our story in a lively, music-loving setting. You will recruit new Wine Club members, process reservations, support events, and help with daily tasks in the tasting room.

Must enjoy people, be reliable, and able to work 11:30 AM–7:30 PM shifts, weekends required. We value authentic personalities, positive attitudes, teamwork, and a willingness to learn about wines and our brand

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of wine industry experience is preferred, but not required; experience in other hospitality or customer-facing roles can substitute for winery experience.
• You must love people and have an interest in wine.
• You must be driven. Driven to sell, grow and improve.
• Strong computer skills; previous POS experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate consistent professionalism and responsibility while having fun.
• Must be a team player and able to work cooperatively with coworkers.
• Understand and participate in creating an environment of inclusion and acceptance.
• Familiarity with Commerce7 POS a plus.

• Help keep our tasting rooms looking great and running smoothly by helping out with administrative, cleaning, inventory-related tasks.
• Get out there and evangelize our brands and build relationships.
• Embrace our company ethos and contribute back to it.
• We know this belongs on a motivational poster, but be incredibly positive, compassionate, helpful teammates with the rest of the squad.

Job description

At Tank Garage Winery, our motto is to "Never Dream Alone" ...and we need more dreamers. In this role, you will host tastings of wines unlike any other in a cool, laid-back environment in downtown Paso Robles. Our team values authentic people with good taste in music and an appreciation for doing things differently.

We are looking for part-time candidates who are available to regularly work 1 to 2 shifts per week (approx. 8 to 16 hours per week). Additional hours possible in the future.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• A variety of schedules available with most hours being between 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, weekend availability a must!
• Work will be on-site at Tank Garage Winery in Paso Robles, CA.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (case of wine) regularly and to remain standing on feet for long periods of time.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS

• We offer a competitive starting rate ($20-25 per hour) with additional opportunities for wine club commissions, quarterly bonuses, and credit card tips.
• Part-time employees are eligible to participate in our company retirement plan (with employer match) after an initial waiting period.

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
