Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County in New Berlin, WI is seeking a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor to lead adult fitness classes part-time at the NB YMCA Wellness Center. Under the direction of the Fitness Director, you will deliver engaging, safe workouts and foster a welcoming environment for members.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, some experience leading classes, and fitness certifications as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18.
• Experience leading fitness classes or equivalent preferred.
• Group Exercise certifications may be required for some formats.
• Ability to teach more than one format (cross-training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, energizing group fitness classes as directed.
• Maintain class attendance and care for studio equipment.
• Complete training and in-services with Fitness Director.
• Promote YMCA programs and encourage member participation.
