Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System seeks a System Medical Director to lead the Acute Care Service Line across its hospitals, aligning clinical programs with the system-wide vision.

The role combines ongoing part-time clinical practice with leadership to drive access, quality, safety, and cost of care, while fostering collaboration among physicians, APPs, and operational leaders. Applicants should bring MD/DO, at least 5 years of clinical and leadership experience, and Idaho licensure; board certification

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school and residency.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in state of practice.
• Board certification in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a part-time clinical practice.
• Inspire and execute best-practice services & programs focused on access, quality, safety, experience, & culture.
• Lead physicians and APPs within the service line to adopt care models that improve outcomes, experience, and cost of care.
• Drive best-in-class care by leveraging performance indicators in patient safety, clinical operations, and finance across ambulatory units.
