Job summary

Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools seeks a Deck Manager / Team Manager to lead on deck and in the pool, coaching instructors and ensuring smooth class operations. The role focuses on guiding hourly staff, ensuring student progress, and delivering outstanding customer care in a fast-paced swim environment.

You will participate in scheduling, evaluations, and enrollment goals, while modeling a safety-first mindset for both staff and students.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and enjoy working with children.
• Positive energy, strong communication, and natural leadership style.
• Available to work a consistent schedule including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool.
• Coach instructors and serve as lead instructor.
• Observe and encourage progress in the pool with students of all ages.
• Support families and ensure each customer feels confident and cared for.
• Stay organized by assisting with scheduling, evaluations, and enrollment goals.
• Upload/Model safety standards for staff and students.
