Emler Swim School is seeking a Deck Manager/Team Manager to lead on deck and in the pool, supervising hourly staff and ensuring smooth class operations while delivering high-quality lessons.

You will mentor instructors, support families, handle scheduling and evaluations, and help craft a safe, welcoming culture. Training provided; evenings and weekends required; growth opportunities available.

• You are 18+ years old with a passion for working with children.
• You bring positive energy, strong communication, and a natural leadership style.
• You love helping others grow - whether that\'s a nervous toddler in the water or a new teammate.
• You are available to work a consistent schedule, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• You are physically active and ready to be on your feet, in the water, and moving with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool - supervise, support, and train hourly staff, ensuring smooth class operations.
• Coach instructors and serve as a lead instructor - mentor swim teachers to deliver safe, engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Celebrate student wins - observe and encourage progress in the pool with students of all ages.
• Support families - help ensure each customer feels confident and cared for.
• Stay organized - assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and enrollment goals.
• Upload safety standards - model and enforce our safety-first mindset for staff and students alike.
