Job summary

The Shady Grove Family YMCA is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. Enthusiastic candidates who can work regular weekly hours with all ages are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and embodying YMCA core values while using varied teaching techniques with small groups. Current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required or can be obtained prior to start.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Lifeguard or YMCA swim lesson instructor certifications are preferred but not required.
• Ability to teach swim lessons to participants of varying ages.
