Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties.
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during the procedure.
• Provide the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during the procedure.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Surgical scrubbing exp (general & specialty)
