Job summary

The Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. Under supervision, you will scrub for procedures, assemble instruments, and support the surgeon and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and efficient care.

This part-time day position requires certification and OR scrub experience, strong English communication, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Two years within the last three years operating room scrubbing experience.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and recognized surgical tech credentials.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes room with instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Performs scrub role, passes instruments, and assists the surgeon as needed.
• Assists with transfer, transport, and stabilization of patient within scope.
• Maintains sterile technique and reports equipment issues to staff.
