Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a national programmatic accreditation agency.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by NCCA.
• Minimum of three years documented experience in OR scrub role or as instructor in surgical technology within past five years.
• Teaching or instructional experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and grade in accordance with the SRT program curriculum.
• Coordinate clinical education and supervise student practicum experiences.
• Advise students on academic progress, career goals, and practicum experiences.
• Attend and participate in department and divisional meetings; collaborate with faculty and staff.
• Develop relationships with local healthcare systems and assist the Program Director with the SRT Advisory Board.
