Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a national agency.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
• Minimum of three years of operating room or instructional experience in surgical technology within the past five years.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of academic and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in the SRT program curriculum.
• Provide timely feedback and grade student work.
• Coordinate clinical education and supervise student experiences.
• Document evaluation and progression toward clinical competence.
• Support Program Director and manage the SRT Program Advisory Board.
• Participate in department and divisional meetings and collaborate with faculty.
