Job summary

Comprehensive ENT Center of Texas in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Part-Time Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical procedures, communicate dates and pre-operative requirements, and verify insurance benefits. The role supports providers, medical staff, and surgery centers while ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation.

The ideal candidate has medical office and surgery scheduling experience with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical office experience required.
• Surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• ENT, ASC, or specialty practice experience a plus."
• Experience with insurance verification, estimates and prior authorizations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and follow-through.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures with patients, providers, and surgery centers.
• Communicate surgery dates, instructions, and pre-operative requirements to patients.
• Verify insurance benefits, provide estimates and coordinate prior authorizations.
• Schedule post-operative appointments and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Follow up on outstanding surgery orders, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintain an accurate and organized surgery schedule.
• Work closely with our providers, Medical Assistants, billing team, and surgery center staff.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the patient\'s surgical experience.
