Job summary

Comprehensive ENT Center of Texas in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Part‑Time Surgery Scheduler who is organized, energetic, and patient‑focused. The role emphasizes ownership of the surgery scheduling process, excellent patient service, and thriving in a fast‑paced medical environment.

You will schedule procedures, communicate dates and pre‑op requirements, verify insurance benefits, coordinate authorizations, and manage documentation.

Qualifications

• Medical office experience required.
• Surgery scheduling experience strongly preferred.
• ENT, ASC, or specialty practice experience is a plus.
• Experience with insurance verification, estimates and prior authorizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures with patients, providers, and surgery centers.
• Communicate surgery dates, instructions, and pre‑operative requirements to patients.
• Verify insurance benefits, provide estimates and coordinate prior authorizations.
• Schedule post‑operative appointments and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Follow up on outstanding surgery orders, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintain an accurate and organized surgery schedule.
• Work closely with our providers, Medical Assistants, billing team, and surgery center staff.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the patient’s surgical experience.
