Job summary

Five Below in District Heights, MD is seeking a part-time Support Lead to guide crew, deliver the BEST customer service, and keep store operations running smoothly.

You will train associates, assist with receiving and merchandising, open and close the store, and help drive sales while maintaining a safe, organized environment. A flexible schedule including weekends is required; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers and trains crew on BEST service; fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities; ensure duties are met and service excellence.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing stock for the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty; manage operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store; secure cash, doors, and alarms; daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks as needed.
