Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Pooler, GA is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to manage branch inventory and support procurement, sourcing, and quoting for customers. The role emphasizes hands-on operations and collaboration with the Sales and Logistics teams to meet customer needs.

The position offers a limited schedule (up to 28 hours/week) with a potential after onboarding for flexible hours and growth within the Fastenal School of Business.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license (as applicable).
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, or related field OR relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to handle data.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented with strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
