Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate in Nacogdoches, TX. You will manage branch inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and coordinate resources to meet customer needs.

The role supports accounts receivable and may involve delivering with a company vehicle from the 1121 SE Stallings Dr location. With up to 28 hours per week, the position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance goals, and a 401(k) with employer contributions as a stated perk.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Hold a current valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate our core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry weights up to 75 lbs (25–50 lbs typical).
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico, Guam).

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement: purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products.
• Coordinating resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success.
