You will manage branch inventory and procurement, estimate prices, source products, and coordinate resources to meet customer needs. You may deliver with a company vehicle and support accounts receivable activities as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Adhere to Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift/move packages 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen (US, Puerto Rico, Guam) and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Deliver with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
