Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Americus, GA branch. You will help manage branch inventory and support B2B operations by handling procurement, sourcing, and quoting to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, processing purchase orders, backorder management, pricing estimates, and coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain demands; occasional deliveries may be required using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license
• Pursuing or have degree in Business/Supply Chain/Management or related field OR customer service experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
• Organized and able to plan/prioritize
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Commitment to Fastenal core values (ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork)
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
• Pass drug screen as required in US/PR/Guam

Responsabilités

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success
