Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Chambersburg, PA location (1080 S Main St, Chambersburg, PA 17201). The role focuses on managing inventory, procurement, quoting, and coordinating resources to meet customer supply chain needs.

The position supports accounts receivable activities, may include company vehicle deliveries, and offers a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance milestones. 28 hours/week maximum with weekday shifts.

Formación

• Age 18 or older
• Possess a current full valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements for company vehicle use
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service or industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry/ lower packages 25–50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass drug screen where applicable

Responsabilidades

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success
