Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Salisbury, MD branch. The role supports inventory control, procurement, and customer-focused sourcing with a schedule that may flex after onboarding.

Key duties include managing stock levels, handling purchase orders, quoting prices, and coordinating resources to meet customer needs; travel by company vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid drivers license.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field or related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong math, organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
