Granite Falls School District is seeking a part-time Food Service I for the Summer Lunch Program at Granite Falls Middle School. The position runs June 29, 2026 to August 7, 2026, Monday through Friday, 10:45 AM–1:00 PM, with no work on July 3, 2026. Job share is allowed; lunch service from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Requires Snohomish County Food Handler's permit and a background check. Training for Summer Lunch on June 24th; duties include food prep, service, and sanitation under supervision.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• Snohomish County background check/fingerprinting required.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
• Date availability for Summer Lunch program scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals and ensure correct portioning and temperatures; store leftovers safely.
• Use established cash and ticket procedures during service; handle cash/records.
• Keep kitchen and storerooms clean; maintain sanitary conditions.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist in ordering supplies and receiving shipments as needed.
