Job summary

Kokua Education in Brooklyn and surrounding NYC communities is seeking substitute teachers to connect students with classroom role models who empower them to be their best.

Earn up to $204 daily with quick onboarding and a flexible schedule. You will support K-12 students, manage classrooms, and have access to ongoing professional development while teaching across diverse schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed (per NYC requirement).
• 1+ year experience working with K-12 students.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability within 7:30am–4:30pm window; preference for 3+ days/week.
• Willingness to commute to 2+ boroughs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and support to K-12 students in classrooms.

You’ll need:

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree (per NYC requirement)

• 1+ year(s) experience working with K-12 students
