Job summary

Kokua Education seeks substitute teachers for New Orleans to help shape student opportunities. You can set your own schedule, work up to 5 days a week, and earn up to 150 USD per day.

Positions include daily and long-term assignments, paid via W-2 to simplify taxes. A minimum of 1 year working with kids and an Associate’s degree or 60+ credit hours are required, with background checks reimbursed after 10 assignments.

Qualifications

• Willing to step in as needed (lunch/recess supervision, tutoring, testing).

Responsibilities

• Teach as a substitute in K‑12 schools in the New Orleans area.

• Up to $150/day paid weekly
• $130/day for daily positions and $150/day for long‑term positions
