Right At School is seeking a Substitute Educator to join our before/after school program network in Cleveland Heights. You will support daily activities, ensure safety, and foster a love of learning among children.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and flexibility to cover multiple schools. Ideal candidates possess 1+ year experience with children, the ability to lift 25lbs, and a commitment to healthy living and program goals.

Qualifications

• Ohio state requirements listed below must be met.
• First Aid and CPR in-person certification.
• Tuberculosis test cleared.
• MMR proof provided.
• 18+ years of age with High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings.
• Prepare and lead activities and curriculum for the day.
• Lead activities that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
