Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Substitute Educator to support its before and after school programs in Ohio. The role involves delivering structured activities, maintaining a safe, engaging classroom, and collaborating with staff to meet program goals.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on education and experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday with two split shifts, with up to 26.25 hours per week and a home-base location within the district schools.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates daily in program meetings.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Lead by example by maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy; document attendance, incidents, and observations as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
