Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to support before/after school programs across district sites in Ohio. You will run daily activities, ensure a safe and engaging environment, and help students develop a love of learning with structured, age-appropriate curriculum.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year experience with children under 13, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and Ohio state compliance including First Aid/CPR, TB test, and MMR, with high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Meet Ohio state requirements: First Aid and CPR (in-person), TB test, MMR, 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily program meetings, review goals and progress.
• Organize and lead structured daily activities aligned with objectives.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy; document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
