BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Compassionate Substance Use Counselor for our outpatient clinic in Brighton, Colorado.

The role focuses on guiding patients through treatment, providing individual sessions, and supporting crisis management with evidence-based strategies. The counselor will develop initial treatment plans, collaborate with medical staff, involve families when possible, and help design aftercare plans.

Qualifications

• Must have CAC II, CAC III, LAC, LPC, LMFT or LCSW certification.
• Minimum of two years counseling experience in a related setting preferred.
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and maintain accurate charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling services with regularly scheduled sessions and coordinate services across treatment.
• Conduct initial assessments and eligibility interviews.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Facilitate initial treatment planning with patients.
• Involve families and significant others in recovery when possible.
• Address patient grievances and complaints as needed.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
