Job summary

Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Student Services Paraprofessional to support students with IEPs and 504 plans, assist with targeted interventions, and monitor progress in a classical, content-rich program.

You will collaborate with the Special Education Teacher, attend team meetings, and help maintain accurate records while building strong relationships with students, families, and staff to promote academic and moral growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual or small groups of at-risk students to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring.
• Implement reading support and progress monitoring activities.
• Attend team/parent meetings and provide input on student strengths and weaknesses.
• Maintain data-based documentation of student performance during interventions.
• Support teachers and students to meet individual needs and assist with testing.
