CINEMA (BL-CINE-IUBLA) Indiana University (IU) Cinema (IUC) provides transformative cinematic experiences for all. As an academic support unit and a world‑class curatorial program and exhibition space, IUC curates unique artistic, educational, and intellectually enriching programs, including film series, visiting scholars, filmmakers, and industry professionals. Since its founding in 2010, the Cinema has served over 320,000 people and programmed films from 52 percent of the 195 United Nations‑recognized countries, offering more than 52 percent of its programming completely free of charge. IU Cinema is an energetic participant in the life of Indiana University, hosting over 200 programs and events per year that combine visiting filmmakers, screenings with live music, academic and community partnerships, and special retrospectives.
The person in this role must be able to navigate and work within a multi‑level facility, remain in a stationary position for extended periods, and lift or transport materials weighing up to 10 pounds. Essential functions require accommodations if needed.

Bloomington, Indiana. The position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, subject to future changes.
6‑10 hours per week with a regular daytime schedule. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be requested; schedule may vary with the Cinema’s programmatic calendar.
