Tailwind Group Inc. is seeking a Marketing Assistant for Overlook Norman, a 254-unit student housing property in Norman, OK. This part-time, in-office role (15–20 hours weekly) focuses on enhancing online presence, creating photo/video content, and promoting the property within the local community.

You will manage social profiles, assist with monthly marketing calendars, coordinate resident events, and support leasing initiatives. A creative portfolio and editing app skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred.
• University enrollment in marketing/communications or related field preferred.
• Experience with CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Lightroom editing apps.
• Ability to present a creative portfolio highlighting prior creative/design and social media experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members; prioritize others and fight for their highest possible good.
• Produce high-quality photo and video content for social media marketing and promotional materials.
• Manage and maintain property social media profiles with regular posting and engagement.
• Collaborate with office staff to support leasing and retention marketing.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting across platforms.
• Assist with outreach marketing on campus and in the community, and with events.
• Showcase resident experiences through digital marketing content to strengthen community feel.
• Ensure marketing materials accurately reflect unique features and amenities.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices.
• Explore partnerships with local businesses to expand reach.
