Job summary

Sullivan University is seeking a part-time Housing Operations Coordinator to oversee housing operations, leases, and residence life programs for student housing. The role reports to the Director of Student Services and focuses on operational efficiency, policy administration, and strategic planning for the housing program.

The position requires coordinating room assignments, leases, and housing moves, with quarterly metrics and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in housing or residence life is a plus.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Willingness to respond to emergency calls 24/7.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with a diverse group.
• Flexibility to work nights and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housing operations and leases for student housing.
• Monitor occupancy and adjust housing inventory for efficiency.
• Process rent invoices and charges in a timely manner.
• Coordinate room assignments and move-ins/outs.
• Lead or assist residence life programs with the Student Life team.
• Assist in maintaining housing policies and quarterly metrics.
• Collaborate with IT, Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Services, and Wellness.
• Support graduation and new student orientation as needed.
• Respond to student and parent concerns and escalate as required.
