Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and required for operating directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and climbing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service.
• Solid problem solving and decision-making abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat store areas including stockroom and sales floor.
• Protect store assets including cash and safety compliance.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
