Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily campus-store operations. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience, coach team members, and ensure store priorities are met with strong operational excellence.

You will support open/close duties, serve as Manager-on-Duty when assigned, and help with merchandising, inventory, and POS tasks. A high school diploma or GED is preferred and you must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and direct team members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the sales floor and model excellent customer service.
• Open/close responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Assign work, monitor progress, coach teammates, and ensure priorities are met.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, POS transactions, and store upkeep.
• Provide onboarding and training to new team members.
