Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ohio to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor.

This part-time role requires reliable leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform extensive walking.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean and presentable.
• Protect assets and cash; follow policies.
• Train and develop store associates.
• Maintain safety guidelines and a respectful environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
