This role focuses on daily store activities, merchandise presentation, and ensuring a safe, inviting shopping environment. You will assist the Store Manager with staff training, scheduling, and adherence to company policies, while helping customers and maintaining stock rooms and sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and endure frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
