Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Canton, NC to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention while ensuring a safe and friendly shopping experience.

The role emphasizes leadership of Store Associates, adherence to store policies, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment. A proactive, high-energy team player is preferred for this part-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Assist Store Manager with supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
