Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Statesville, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with store operations, customer service and team development. You will help organize merchandise, supervise associates, and handle opening and closing procedures while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, interpret, and explain operating directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physically demanding duties as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
