Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Tullahoma, TN to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. The role includes opening/closing, merchandising, inventory, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention, with a focus on a positive customer experience.

Part-time position with opportunities to supervise and train Store Associates. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and store management experience in retail or related

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure all store assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and procedures and ensure staff follow them
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
