Job summary

Family Dollar in Snow Hill, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop a fast-paced team.

You will assist with merchandising, open/close procedures, and compliance with company policies, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store environment.

This role offers opportunities to lead by example, manage schedules, and contribute to store performance while adhering to ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.

• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and store policies; handle cashiering and records.
