Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bandon, Oregon to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role includes supervising daily activities, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store standards.

You will assist in opening/closing, adhere to directives, and help lead store associates to deliver friendly service and safe, efficient operations. Part-time position, on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures to ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
