Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Sherwood, Oregon is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and help train and supervise associates to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include merchandising, opening/closing procedures, loss prevention, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff. This role is part-time with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support the Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked store and ensure safety.
