Job summary

Dollar Tree in Knoxville is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; assist in loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates; foster teamwork.
