Job summary

Five Below in Fayetteville, WV is hiring for an hourly crew supervisor role. You will oversee daily store operations, train associates on the BEST customer service, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You will manage opening/closing, cash handling, and alarms, while supporting onboarding and ongoing training. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, merchandising, and maintaining a welcoming, WOWstore environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows the customer through personal contact; trains crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates; ensure performance and customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty; manage store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening or closing the store; secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning, stock room upkeep and trash removal.
