Job summary

The Salvation Army Lake Mead Blvd. Store in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to work on-site. You will support store operations, assist customers, and partner with the Store Manager to meet sales and budget goals.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, POS, inventory, merchandising, coaching staff, and ensuring security and safety. Prior retail/supervisory experience preferred; background check required; pay is $16/hr for 25 hours/week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Takes active role with Store Manager in daily store operations (opening/closing, POS, inventory management, donations).
• Assumes responsibility for day-to-day operations in absence of Manager.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive sales and profitability as per budget/goals.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage; conduct team meetings; provide coaching and training.
