Job summary

Dollar Tree in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time retail associate to support daily store operations and assist customers with a positive, friendly approach. You will help organize merchandise, perform opening/closing tasks, and follow company directives to maintain displays, schedules, and safety protocols.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and exemplary customer service. Physical tasks include lifting up to 55 lbs and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain promotional displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record keeping.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Help supervise and train Store Associates; maintain a respectful environment.
