Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time position with responsibilities across store operations including merchandise reception and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
