Job summary

Five Below in Athens, TN is seeking a part-time Support Lead to help run store operations and coach team members. You’ll train crew on the BEST customer service, supervise daily tasks, assist with stock receipt and placement, and step in as Manager on Duty when needed.

You’ll open/close the store, manage cash and alarms, and support onboarding to boost performance. Flexibility for day/evening/weekend hours is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and ensures fast, friendly check out.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring good performance and service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing, cash handling, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training to improve policy knowledge and performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
