Job summary

New Belgium Brewing Company Inc. is seeking a friendly part-time retail associate in Kalamazoo, MI. You will deliver exceptional customer service, handle sales transactions using a POS system, stock and rotate items, and help maintain an inviting store environment.

The role covers weekday and weekend shifts, with a starting hourly rate of $21.00 and benefits after a short probation period. Ideal candidates bring experience in cash handling, clear communication, and a proactive, team-oriented

Job description

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to retail customers, maintaining stock levels, and upkeeping an aesthetically pleasing workplace at Bell's Brewery. This is a Part-time position working weekdays and weekends.

Essential Duties

• Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons
• Maintains knowledge of store policies, discounts, promotions, etc
• Performs opening/closing duties
• Uses retail POS system and accurately tenders transactions
• Ensures all retail items are stocked and rotated
• Upholds visual presentation throughout the store through cleaning and implementation of store displays
• Supports online store fulfillment by picking, packing, and shipping online orders
• Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience / Skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 56.5 lbs. and carry objects of this weight up to 100 feet.
• Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.
• Must also show fine motor dexterity.
• Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.
• The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons. Starting Hourly Rate: $21.00/hour
